Afternoon at the Park!

So my sister and I thought it would be fun to meet up at the Kids Together park in Cary to let the kiddos swing on the swings and watch Miss Lucy Play! My mom decided to meet us up there as well and we had a BLAST! We will definitely be going back very soon!

I don't think there has ever been a little boy who has loved the swings more than my little man!

He was way too small to actually fit in these big swings so I rigged it with my raincoat shoved behind him and it worked perfectly! He loved to go high.

A Pierce Family Outing...

Several weeks back, my sweet sister, Kelley called and asked if Will and I wanted to go over to Yates Mill Pond because they were giving free tours of the Mill. Mom and Dad decided to tag along and we had such a great time! We got there just as they were ending the tours which was a bummer but we still got some GREAT pictures!

Easy Like Sunday Morning....

Some of our great friends, Chad and Carrie joined us this morning for church at The Summit's Cary campus. They are new parents as well and their little guy Jack is about 6 weeks older than Will. They both spent the morning in the nursery with Carrie's mom and had a blast. Needless to say, no morning naps were had for these little guys! So when we arrived at Briggs in Cary for a yummy brunch they both were completely sacked out!

This picture is just priceless! ...I think they are destined to be buddies!

Herb Garden...

Mrs. Shipman and I headed to Fairview and Logans a little over a week ago on the hunt for herbs. I came home with some beautiful basil, thyme, rosemary and orange mint! How exciting! Let's see if I can manage to keep them alive...
